As most eyes were on Zeta, INTREN crews mobilized from the Chicago area to help restore power after a historic ice storm pelted Oklahoma recently. The severe ice accumulations and high winds snapped poles and downed wires causing significant outages in the central and western regions of the Sooner State.

One grateful resident, who had been without power for six days, was kind enough to send in this photo showing our crews hard at work!

More than 200 INTREN crew members, including our support teams, continue to restore power after Hurricane Zeta barreled into Louisiana and into Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia, and the Carolinas leaving two million without electricity. Much of the damage came from gale-force winds that ripped down trees and damaged buildings that cut off electricity along the storm's path.

Thank you all for OutPerforming.Everyday. #INTRENStrong
